We’re incredibly excited to welcome Uptown Festival to Cardiff’s glorious Bute Park. Overlooking Cardiff Castle in the great Welsh greenery, Bute Park will host legendary bands, bringing the Cardiff edition an extra special blend of soul and reggae with Sister Sledge headlining this September 15th debut. They will be joined by Aswad, Maxi Priest, Desmond Dekker’s Aces, and Captain Accident & the Disasters.

There is no parking at the Uptown Festival Cardiff site so we urge people to use public transport, alternatively you may be able to make use of the parking facilities in the local area for example:
Castle Mews
College Road
King Edward VII Avenue
Museum Avenue
Sophia Gardens
North Road.
Please note that some of the pay & Display facilities take cash.

No, Uptown Festival Cardiff is not a camping event.
Uptown Festival Cardiff is held at Bute Park, North Rd, Cardiff CF10 3ER.
Unfortunately we can’t issue you with a refund if you can’t make the event due to work commitments or your mates have dropped out. In these circumstances, we advise passing on your tickets privately to avoid losing out on the money spent. Refunds can only be offered if the event is cancelled or postponed, as agreed upon purchase.

A Personal Assistance /Carer ticket is available to customers with a +1 on their registration or access card.
For those Purchasing a standard ticket these will be free of charge. For those purchasing VIP tickets these will be charged at the difference between a standard and a VIP ticket.
If you do not have an Access card then you will be able to apply for either free registration to these events or for a full Access Card here: https://app.accesscard.online/apply/thefestivalcrowd/
Please then purchase your ticket and email info@thefestivalcrowd.com with your booking reference and the details of your Access Card/registration in order to obtain your free PA ticket.
Terms and conditions:
You will need to enter the event via the accessible que lane where you will be issued wristbands.
The name on the ticket must match the access card/registration and you may be asked to provide this/ID on entry to the event.
PA/Carer must enter and leave the venue with the person they are assisting and be with them for the duration of the event.
Any additional support on the day can be obtained by going to the welfare tent or by showing your band to security.
PA tickets are not issued on a first come first serve basis but cannot be legally issued if the event is sold out, so it is imperative that you obtain your ticket and Access card at your earliest convenience.

Gear up for an all-day celebration of great music as Uptown Festival lands in Bute Park, expanding its curation of unmistakable acts to Wales! Known for hosting legendary UK bands and crafting a family-friendly atmosphere, Uptown Festival is expanding, set to create unforgettable experiences for fans of some of the most recognisable British talent!
Uptown’s past/current acts include Madness, Ronan Keating, UB40, Billy Ocean, The Zutons, Lightning Seeds, Lemar, The Dualers, Neev, Robin S, Simon School Boy, Brand New Heavies & many more!
Full details regarding all of the available train times to and from Cardiff Central Station (10 minutes walk) and Cardiff Queen Street (15 minutes walk) can be checked on National Rail or the transport for Wales website https://tfw.wales/plan-a-journey.
For disabled parking, we recommend the North Road car parks. There is some disabled parking directly outside the park but the spaces can be very limited. Uptown Festival Cardiff don’t have the capability for customers to reserve this. There is step free access from North Road Carpark as well as Mews tennis courts car park.

Accessible toilets are located within our events on Blackheath , the Welfare Tent, and each toilet block. These will be indicated on the Access Map.
Doors at Uptown Festival Cardiff open from 12pm, with last entry at 6pm, unless you purchased an early entry ticket which will be labelled accordingly. It will all be finished by 10.30pm.
There is seating in the VIP areas for anyone with a VIP ticket.
Chairs will not be allowed to be bought into the event.
If seating is compulsory to your enjoyment of the event due to medical circumstances there is a small viewing platform.
We understand that a hidden disability is not immediately apparent. If you would like support or advice once inside the festival, the Welfare Manager will be the main point of contact and is based at the Welfare tent. Or don’t hesitate to get in contact in advance with your questions to info@thefestivalcrowd.com.
There is no readmission. Once you are in, if you leave you will not be allowed back into Uptown Festival Cardiff.
Bars and Vendors at Uptown Festival Cardiff will be accepting both cash and card.?Unfortunately, there will be no ATMs onsite and there will be no cashback facilities available, therefore if you are wishing to pay using cash it is advised that you withdraw money on the way to the event.
Chairs are not allowed to be bought into Uptown Festival Cardiff, you can however bring in blankets or lay bags.
